Professor R. Chmelík will introduce you the principles of holographic incoherent-light-source quantitative phase imaging (QPI). QPI is a novel label-free microscopy technique bringing a completely new contrast into the live-cell imaging field. Dr. D. Zicha and his team exploit the potential of the QPI technology in cancer research. He will present how to utilize extracted information-rich quantitative data from unlabeled cells for the intensions of their current drug repurposing project.
